Porus One
Porus One is a selective adsorber that absorbs high levels of the precursors of uremic toxins in the intestine and excretes them naturally in the feces.
Uremic toxins
Cats are obligate carnivores. They therefore absolutely need meat (= animal protein) in their diet, as it is their most important source of energy. During protein digestion, potentially toxic degradation products (= uraemic toxins) are naturally produced in the cat's body every day. The precursors of uraemic toxins are already formed in the intestine . The precursors then reach the liver, where they are converted into the actual uraemic toxins and have to be excreted via the kidneys (detoxification). If the performance of the kidneys decreases with age, these toxins are more difficult to excrete and accumulate in the body. This can affect the cat's health and further damage the kidneys.
If they accumulate in the blood, some uraemic toxins can directly damage the kidneys and other organs.
Porus One supports the binding of precursors of uraemic toxins in the intestine and excretes them harmlessly in the faeces. No more toxins can be formed from them.
Porus One is sprinkled over the cat food once a day and mixed in. It does not matter whether it is diet food or conventional food.
The daily dose per cat is 1 stick containing 500 mg. If only dry food is given, it is necessary to give the pellets together with Add One or some moist food, cat jelly or paste to improve the binding of the pellets to the food. The pellets bound to a small amount of moist food in this way are well absorbed by the cat together with the food.
Long-term use of Porus One is advisable to support kidney function.
Other food supplements or medication should be given at intervals of 2 hours before or after the administration of Porus One.

Guten Tag Ich habe eine Nierenkranke Katze die nur Trockenfutter frisst und Nierencreme nimmt. Leider frisst Sie auch kein spezielles Nierenfutter und ist sehr heikel im Magen. Ich suche etwas zum den Appetit anregen und etwas zum die Nieren unterstützen da sie kein etwas zumer nimmt. Was wäre geeignet oder kombinierbar?

zur Unterstützung der Nierenfunktion, wenn spezielles Nierenfutter nicht akzeptiert wird, können Produkte wie Porus One oder Pronefra gegeben werden – idealerweise gemischt mit dem gewohnten Futter.
Zur Appetitanregung eignen sich zusätzlich Ergänzungen wie Add One oder Recoactiv Nieren Tonicum, die unter das Futter gemischt werden können. Ähnliches gilt für Recoactiv Renal Recovery – dieses kann zusätzlich auch direkt mit einer Spritze verabreicht werden, wenn eine Zwangsfütterung notwendig ist, und trägt gleichzeitig zur Energieversorgung bei. Diese Produkte können auch mit Porus One oder Pronefra kombiniert werden.
Die Mirtazapin-Salbe ist ein verschreibungspflichtiges Medikament, das wir nicht anbieten. Für eine geeignete Alternative wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an Ihren Tierarzt. Nach aktuellem Kenntnisstand gilt Mirtazapin – oft in Kombination mit Cerenia – als die wirksamste Möglichkeit, den Appetit zuverlässig anzuregen.

Ich sehe nicht, welche Geschmacksrichtung das Porus One in Ihrem Shop hat? Es gibt doch Lachs und Leber? Mein Kater akzeptiert nur Lachs. Ich habe porus one (Lachs) meinem Tierarzt erhalten.

Die Varianten Lachs und Leber beziehen sich auf den Add One Katzensnack, der zusätzlich zu Porus One gegeben werden kann, um die Akzeptanz zu verbessern. Add One ist in den beiden Geschmacksrichtungen Lachs und Leber erhältlich.

Porus one macht Verstopfung bei meiner Katze ( 20 Jahre ) Habe das Mittel vom Tierarzt bekommen. Gibt es eine Alternative?
Guten Tag, ja, wenn Ihre Katze unter Porus One Verstopfung entwickelt, würde ich das Produkt nicht weitergeben, ohne Rücksprache mit Ihrem Tierarzt zu halten.
Als Alternative zur Unterstützung bei chronischer Niereninsuffizienz kommen beispielsweise Pronefra oder Ipakitine infrage. Diese wirken allerdings anders als Porus One und binden vor allem Phosphor im Darm.

Kann Porus One ebenfalls einer Seniorenkatze (17 Jahre alt) mit chronischer Pankreatitis und IBD promblemlos verabreicht werden? Für IBD erhält sie täglich 3 Prednisolontröpfli und laut Ultraschall vom 30.07.26 ist die IBD kaum sichtlich.
Ja, Porus One kann bei Katzen mit Pankreatitis und IBD angewendet werden, da es lokal im Darm wirkt und nicht verstoffwechselt wird. Zwingend erforderlich ist ein zeitlicher Abstand von mindestens zwei Stunden zur Verabreichung der Prednisolon-Tropfen, da Porus One sonst den Wirkstoff binden und dessen Aufnahme verhindern könnte.

Darf man das der Katze bei Bauchspeicheldrüsenproblemen geben?
Porus One wirkt ausschliesslich im Darm und wird nicht resorbiert. Es sind keine Kontraindikationen bei Bauchspeicheldrüsenerkrankungen bekannt.

Ma chatte ne veut pas de nourriture humide, que des croquettes. Comment luis administrer Porus
Bonjour, si votre chatte ne mange que des croquettes, vous pouvez tout à fait saupoudrer Porus One directement sur une petite quantité de croquettes. L’idéal est de ne proposer qu’une petite portion au départ, afin qu’elle ne puisse pas trier et laisser les croquettes recouvertes de poudre au fond de la gamelle. Vous pouvez également mélanger la poudre à une friandise en crème pour chat. Certains chats l’acceptent ainsi plus facilement. N’hésitez pas à introduire le produit progressivement sur quelques jours pour l’habituer au goût.

Bonjour,mon chat soufffre d'un début d'insufisance rénale (mais n'a pas besoin de médicament en lien avec la dégradation des protéines dans l'urine) et d'hypertension traitée avec amodip.
Est-ce que je peux lui donner porus one?Y'a t'il un risque que cela fasse chuter sa tension trop bas (à son dernier contrôle il avait 160 et prend 1/2 comprimé d'amodip par jour).

Ma Mounette de 16 ans prend du Semintra depuis plus d'un an où elle a été diagnostiqué avec une insuffisance rénale débutante.
Depuis, ses dernières analyses ont montré une urée un peu haute mais tout le reste est dans la norme.
Je voulais savoir si je pouvais ajouter le Porus One avec le Semintra qu'elle prend chaque matin.

Die Dosierung von Porus One ist grundsätzlich unabhängig von der Futtermenge. In der Regel wird ein Stick pro Tag verabreicht, unabhängig davon, ob Ihre Katze 100 g oder 200 g Futter erhält. Wichtig ist, dass sich die Dosierung am Tier und nicht an der Futtermenge orientiert.

Die Katze muss Purus One einnehmen und hat einen Teil davon übergeben müssen. Ist das schlimm? Muss sie eine neue Portion haben?
Wenn Ihre Katze kurz nach der Einnahme einen Teil des Futters wieder erbricht, ist eine vollständige Aufnahme von Porus One unwahrscheinlich. Sie können der Katze mit der nächsten Mahlzeit erneut eine volle Portion geben. Da Porus One selbst nicht über den Darm aufgenommen wird, schadet es nicht, wenn mehr als 1 Beutel pro Tag gegeben wird. Bei wiederholtem Erbrechen ist der Tierarzt zu konsultieren.

Guten Tag. Spielt es eine Rolle, wann Porus one gegeben wird? Besser am Morgen oder am Abend ? Ich muss meiner Katze noch das Medikament Fortekor verabreichen (morgens). Ich habe gelesen, dass nach der Gabe eines Medikamentes mindestens 2 Std Abstand eingehalten werden sollte, bevor Porus one verabreicht wird. Deshalb habe ich Porus one jeweils erst abends verabreicht. Ich bin mir aber jetzt nicht sicher, ob die Wirkung von Porus one so auch richtig umgesetzt werden kann.
Es spielt keine Rolle, zu welcher Tageszeit Porus One verabreicht wird. Eine Dosis reicht aus, um einen grossen Teil des Darms zu bedecken und so längerfristig zu wirken.
Da Ihre Katze jeweils morgens Medikamente erhält, bietet es sich an, Porus One abends oder einfach zu einer anderen Mahlzeit – mit mind. 2h Abstand zu Fortekor - zu verabreichen.

Bonjour j’ai deux chats de 13 ans qui souffrent d’insuffisance rénale.
L’un n’a pas encore besoin de prendre de médicament et l’autre est en stade 2.
Mon vétérinaire m’a conseillée de leur donner des croquettes rénales Purina et apparemment ils se portent les deux à merveille après examen sanguin.
Ma question, serait-il judicieux de leur donner en plus le complément alimentaire Porus One afin de les garder en bonne santé le p,us longtemps possible ? Je donne déjà ADD 2fois par jour à l’un des deux car l’aure n’en veut pas, hélas…
