Dechra Catney One
Catney One is a complementary food for special nutritional purposes for cats to support kidney function in chronic Renal insufficiency.
Hyperphosphatemia is often an unavoidable side effect of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats. It is also a major factor in the progression of this disease.
By reducing phosphate intake, it significantly improves your cat's quality of life and can play a key role in prolonging the life of cats with chronic kidney disease.
The smart granule formulation of Catney One makes it easy to mix with wet food or the tasty Add One paste. The dosage of Catney One is simple. The cat receives one stick per day.
Thanks to the high capacity to bind phosphate, one application of Catney One per day with a meal is sufficient. However, it is also possible to spread the application over several meals.

Catney One and Porus One can be administered at the same time without any problems.
1 stick of Catney One per day to be administered with the feed. It should initially be started with one stick of Catney One per day. After 2-4 weeks, the amount can be adjusted based on the serum phosphate level (blood test).
Mix the granules well into the feed. The dosage can be divided over the day according to feeding habits.
- Please note that Catney One should be administered at least one hour after or three hours before the intake of other orally administered products . It is safe to administer Catney One and Porus One at the same time.
- Please do not use opened sachets for longer than 1 day, but dispose of them.
- The total daily dose can also be divided into two or more meals for the cat.
- Catney One should always be carefully mixed with the cat's food. Otherwise, the granules may mask the food's own odor. This could make the food smell less palatable.
- Catney One can be dissolved in liquid.
- If another cat accidentally eats the product, this is harmless in individual cases.
- Catney One can be left "ready mixed" with fresh food for up to one day.
In the case of chronic kidney disease, the initial period of use is 6 months. It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before feeding Catney One or if the feeding period is extended.
Fresh water should always be freely available.
Storage: Store in a dry place between 15 - 25 °C.
Active ingredient: lanthanum carbonate granules (a calcium-free phosphate binder with high selectivity that reduces phosphate absorption in the stomach and intestines)
