Why CAVALOR® Electrolyte Balance?
When horses sweat, they can lose many of the electrolytes and minerals they need for their bodies to function properly. As horses' sweat is hypertonic, the loss of electrolytes and water is the main cause of fatigue in endurance riding. Electrolyte loss can result in poorer body condition and performance. Restoring the natural balance between minerals, electrolytes and vitamins takes time. If heavy sweating causes a significant electrolyte deficiency, this loss must be compensated for. The use of Cavalor Electrolyte Balance after a loss of electrolytes and minerals through sweating (due to heat, transport and exertion) helps the horse to stay fit for longer, to regenerate more quickly and to survive longer periods of intensive training, competitions and transport more easily.
