With a slightly higher fat content and a moderate reduction in protein, this food ensures an energy intake tailored to your dog’s needs without placing additional strain on the kidneys. High-quality muscle meat serves as a highly digestible source of protein, while the balanced phosphorus-to-calcium ratio supports the excretion of excess phosphorus.
In addition, the food contains an adjusted amount of vitamins A and B to compensate for the increased loss of these vitamins in dogs with kidney disease. The recipe is particularly palatable and promotes regular food intake.
