Futtermedicus Marshmallow Root

Straight feeding stuff for dogs & cats to support the gastric mucosa

Marshmallow roots from the real marshmallow - Althaea officinalis - have a high content of mucilage. Ground marshmallow roots can support stomach function and aid digestion. The high mucilage content in the decoction causes a protective layer to form on the mucous membranes.

Indications:

  • To support stomach and intestinal function
  • For stomach acidity (smacking, praying, eating grass)

Suitable for supplementing home-cooked feed, BARF rations or ready-made feed.

The marshmallow root powder is stirred into 10 times the amount of water and left to stand for 1-4 hours so that the mucilage can dissolve. The brew must not be boiled and must be administered within 24 hours.

When administering medication, please keep an approx. 1-2 hour interval.

The product must be stored in a dry place.

Meine Katze muss täglich Thyronorm einnehmen für die Schilddrüse. Wann ist es sinnvoll das Eibischpulver zu geben? Vorher oder nach der Medikamenteneinnahme?

Wenn der Abstand von mindestens 1 - 2 Stunden zwischen Eibischpulver und dem Thyronorm eingehalten wird, spielt es keine Rolle, welches der beiden Produkte zuerst gegeben wird. Sie können es so einrichten, wie es besser in den Tagesablauf passt.
