In order to optimally support the health of older dogs, it is important to switch to a special dog food for senior dogs from a certain age. The age at which a dog is considered a senior varies from person to person. As a rule, larger dog breeds age faster than smaller ones. With increasing age, the dog's metabolism changes and the performance of the organs decreases. A good dry food for senior dogs takes these changes into account and is adapted accordingly.
Happy Dog NaturCroq Senior contains particularly high-quality and easily digestible ingredients to protect the intestines. Care has also been taken to ensure a moderate protein content. The daily amount should be divided into 2-3 portions. Offer dry or pour warmed, fresh water (approx. 60 °C) over it and leave to soak for a few minutes. Pouring warm water over the dry food can improve acceptance in some dogs. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times. If snacks or other additional products are also given, the amount of food should be reduced. It may be necessary to adjust the amount of food individually.
