As dogs are predators, they naturally eat a lot at once. As a dog owner, you therefore have a duty to steer this natural urge to gorge into healthy channels. Metabolic dry food helps you to do this: it fills your dog up, but doesn't make him fat.
The food has been clinically proven to reduce the body fat percentage of dogs by more than a quarter in two months. It is also ideal for your dog's maintenance diet.
Combining a Metabolic Weight Management dog diet with more exercise stimulation

Low calories and lots of flavor for the gourmets among Labradors
Hill's Metabolic Weight Management is a dry food with a low energy density. This makes it easier for your dog to lose weight: he can still devour a lot, but fewer calories remain. The taste doesn't fall by the wayside either: chicken and turkey proteins are combined with good oils from linseed and coconut to create a tasty meal.
For small dogs, we recommend Canine Metabolic Mini from the same Hill's range.
The daily amounts given are only a starting point. The amount of food should be adjusted accordingly to maintain the optimum body weight.
The animal should be gradually introduced to the new food over a period of 7 days or more.
