Supplementary feed for dogs and cats
When applied externally, cold-pressed organic coconut oil can help keep ticks and vermin away. It also provides positive support for the immune system and ensures a shiny coat and well-groomed paws.
Feeding recommendation for dogs and cats:
- 2 - 3 times a week 1 *teaspoon per 10 kg body weight.
External use for dogs:
- To support tick protection: rub a pea-sized to hazelnut-sized amount of coconut oil (depending on the size of the animal) into the hands and brush over the coat daily.
- For daily skin, hair and paw care: Rub a small amount of oil into the palms of your hands and massage in.
Good to know:
- * 1 level teaspoon approx. 5 ml
- Ideal addition to a BARF diet or as a supplement to complete food meals
- Some cats find external application unpleasant as the smell of coconut oil can bother them
- Mix the oil into dry or moistened food
- Store at room temperature, protected from light, melting point is approx. 26° degrees
