Cosequin® Equine ASU is a feed supplement for horses. The powder concentrate supports the development of the cartilage structure and at the same time inhibits the enzymes involved in cartilage degradation.

The large body mass of the modern sport horse, in relation to its delicate legs, leads to a considerable joint load per se. In addition, the horse's joints are exposed to enormous forces during training and competition, but also during normal leisure riding. The horse is therefore virtually predestined to develop signs of wear and tear in the joint cartilage and joints in the course of its life. However, horses suffering from joint problems can no longer be used for riding, or only to a limited extent, and the quality of life of these animals is also greatly reduced. It is therefore very sensible to support the horse's joint health in good time with a supplementary feed.

How does Cosequin® Equine work?
The exclusive combination of 100% low molecular weight sodium chondroitin sulphate (TRH122®*), glucosamine HCl (FCHG49®*) and manganese in Cosequin® work together to maintain the structure of your horse's joint cartilage and at the same time slow down its degradation enzymes. Glucosamine HCl is the actual building block of cartilage, providing a key nutrient that keeps cartilage cells healthy and functioning properly. Chondroitin sulphate inhibits the enzymes that break down cartilage tissue.
