Better Bones Pellets provide a sophisticated blend of essential minerals, vitamin D3, vitamin K, collagen and amino acids specifically formulated for proper bone growth and development in young horses, including young racehorses, beginning performance horses and broodmares.

The bone health of young horses begins in the womb. It is essential that broodmares are adequately supplied with essential nutrients during pregnancy and lactation to promote foal growth and support rapid skeletal development after birth.

Imbalanced mineral and nutrient levels in growing horses can lead to skeletal development disorders. While genetic and environmental factors also play a role, breeders and trainers have a significant influence on providing optimal levels of nutrients by controlling nutritional intake.
