Denamarin
Denamarin® is a dietary supplementfor dogs and cats that supports liver function under increased stress and thus makes a natural contribution to liver protection.
Why Denamarin®?
Denamarin® contains the ingredients S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), a metabolically active form of the amino acid methionine, which is involved in various liver functions, and silybin, an active component of an extract from milk thistle.
If liver function is impaired, the production of S-adenosylmethionine (SAM-e) can decrease. This leads to the following vicious circle: the glutathione supply is depleted, which also reduces its protective effect. The resulting liver dysfunction leads to an additional reduction in the production of S-adenosylmethionine (SAM-e), which causes glutathione levels to drop even further. In a study in dogs and cats with reduced liver function, the drop in glutathione concentrations was demonstrated and it was shown that the administration of SAMe significantly increased the levels of glutathione in the liver.
Denamarin S:
for cats and small dogs up to 5.5 kg
Denamarin M:
for medium dogs from 5.5kg to 16kg

for large dogs from 16kg

In the presence of food, the optimal absorption of S-adenosylmethionine is reduced; it is therefore recommended to administer Denamarin® on an empty stomach.
It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before using Denamarin® or before extending the period of use.

Est-ce que le Denamarin existe en liquide ? Il m'est impossible de faire avaler les comprimés à mon chat. Et si je les écrase et lui mets dans la nourriture elle mange plus..
Your iPet team Malheureusement, Denamarin n'existe que sous forme de comprimés. Peut-être que l'utilisation des friandises Pill Assist facilitera l'ingestion des comprimés par votre chat.

Le Denamarin donne de forte diarrhée à mon Golden de bientôt 14 ans. Puis-je donner le S ou le M pour commencer plus en douceur ? Il pèse 31.7 kg
Your iPet team Bonjour, vous pouvez essayer d'habituer votre chien au Denamarin en commençant avec une plus petite dose. Néanmoins, pour que cela soit efficace, il faudra quand même donner la dose pour grand chien ensuite. S'il ne supporte réellement pas ce produit, il est probable qu'il recommence ensuite à avoir des soucis digestifs. Dans ce cas, je vous conseillerai d'essayer un autre complément pour le foie, comme le Samyllin. Votre équipe iPet
