An all-in-one dry cat food to support kidney function in the early stages of Renal insufficiency in adult cats. Formulated with reduced levels of high quality proteins and a kidney supportive formula with reduced phosphorus and added omega 3 fatty acids, potassium and antioxidants to help support early renal treatment.

Mon chat de 19.5 ans prend ces croquettes sur recommandation de son vétérinaire suite à une prise de sang. On m’a indiqué que c'est temporaire et qu'il faut ensuite passer aux croquettes suivantes. Je vois qu'il est indiqué 2-4 semaines max pour les 2 sortes. Qu en est il ensuite ? Que dois-je lui donner ?

Bonjour, en décembre 2025 la prise de sang n’indiquait aucun problème rénal. Mais, comme il semblerait que les Abyssins (d’après les éleveurs ) sont toujours sujets, un jour ou l’autre, à cette maladie, j’ai commencé à donner à ma chatte de 14 ans ces croquettes, petit à petit. Ma question est, est-ce ces croquettes qui la faire boire plus ? Environs 140 ml par jour. Elle pèse env. 6kg. Il faut dire que je mélange ces croquettes à d’autres croquettes señor, et quelle mange plus de croquettes que d’aliment humide (1 sachet par jour, en général señor aussi). Je l’observe beaucoup et tout semble pour le mieux, bien qu’elle souffre d’arthrose. Elle reçoit une injection de Solensia une fois par mois.
Bien entendu à ma prochaine visite j’en reparlerai à ma vétérinaire. Mais j’aimerais lui éviter ce stresse que sont les visites chez le vétérinaire.

Certaines croquettes aussi favorisent la sensation de soif pour encourager les chats à boire plus. Dans tous les cas, s'il y a le moindre doute, je vous conseille de faire examiner votre chat par un vétérinaire afin d'exclure toute cause pathologique sous-jacente à l'augmentation de la prise d'eau.
