Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET k/d cat food with chicken is a complete dietary food to support kidney function in adult cats with chronic or acute Renal insufficiency. This food has a low phosphorus content and a limited protein content, but high quality protein.
When the kidney tissue in cats is damaged, the kidneys are no longer fully functional. Although the symptoms are irreversible, the progression can be slowed down. Special kidney diets are designed to help reduce the burden on the kidneys and therefore function more effectively. Cats with impaired kidney function may have a reduced appetite, which may result in them eating less food.
Hill's nutritionists and veterinarians have developed Hill's Prescription Diet k/d with ActivBiome+ Kidney Defense, which has been shown to nourish the gut microbiome to help support kidney function. On a dû changer drastiquement les croquettes de notre minette, car dû à son âge, elle commence à avoir des petits soucis de santé. Elle a eu aucun mal à les accepter, et pourtant, c’est une vieille chiante difficile à changer les habitudes de toutes ces années avec une seule marque acceptée par ces papilles (pas forcément très bon choix) car il s’agissait d’une marque de supermarché. Mais bon, on y pense pas forcément que tôt ou tard, ce n’est pas forcément le bon choix - les croquettes Féline k/d sont trop bien et j’achète le gros paquet ce qui me fait facilement un bon mois, voir un peu plus … Je suis également addict à ce site car livraison rapide, fiable et sûr.
