RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal is a tasty, high-calorie feed specially designed for cats with impaired kidney function or chronic Renal insufficiency that have problems eating.

Thanks to its high-calorie formula, the product effectively combats underweight and a poor general condition, which are often due to insufficient food intake and an altered metabolism.

Cats with chronic Renal insufficiency often suffer from an altered sense of taste, so an appetizing food is of great importance. The intense taste and odor quality of RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal encourages the cat to eat. The high level of acceptance, coupled with an energy-rich formula and reduced phosphate content, significantly supports weight gain in malnourished cats.

Low mineral levels, supplemented by suitable vitamin complexes and low but high-quality protein, ensure optimum support for weakened kidneys. The serious consequences of this disease, such as inappetence and dehydration, can be alleviated by RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal*. As a result, an otherwise difficult change of diet can often be delayed or, thanks to the outstanding acceptance of RECOACTIV® RECOVERY Renal, made easier.

RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal can be used as a Complete food and covers the animal's complete energy and nutrient requirements in acute phases. It is also suitable as a tube feed. Due to its very high energy density (2 kcal/g), the daily requirement can already be covered with a small amount of feed.

Guten Tag, wenn man RECOVERY Renal füttert, ist es nicht notwendig, zusätzlich das Tonicum zu geben, da RECOVERY Renal auch appetitstimulierend wirkt. Es ist möglich, RECOVERY Renal auch bei Katzen zu füttern, die gleichzeitig an Diabetes leiden. Wenn Ihre Katze jedoch Insulin erhält, empfehle ich Ihnen, die Glukosekurve in den ersten Wochen zu überwachen, um zu beurteilen, ob eine Anpassung der Insulindosis erforderlich ist.
