RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal is a tasty, high-calorie feed developed for cats with impaired kidney function or chronic Renal insufficiency that have difficulty eating.
Thanks to its high-calorie composition, the product effectively combats underweight and poor general condition, which are often due to insufficient food intake and altered metabolism.
Cats with chronic Renal insufficiency often have an altered sense of taste, so an appetizing food is of great importance. The intense taste and odor quality of RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal encourages the cat to eat. The high level of acceptance, combined with an energy-rich formula and reduced phosphate content, significantly supports weight gain in malnourished cats.
Low mineral levels, supplemented and combined with appropriate vitamin complexes and low but high-quality protein, ensure optimum support for weakened kidneys. The serious consequences of this disease, such as inappetence and dehydration, can be alleviated by RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal*. This means that an often difficult change of diet can often be delayed or, thanks to the outstanding acceptance of RECOACTIV® RECOVERY Renal, can be carried out more easily.
RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal can be used as a Complete food and covers the animal's complete energy and nutrient requirements in acute phases. It is also suitable as a tube feed. Due to the very high energy density (2 kcal/g), the daily requirement can already be covered with a small amount of feed.

Unser 14 jährige Katze hat ein Fibrom das mit Kortison behandelt wurde. Das Kortison musste abgesetzt werden. Es geht ihr gut, frisst aber nicht mehr so gut. (Schlechter als vorher) Kann ich das Recoactiv Renal Recovery verabreichen?

Meinem Kater Mo (15,) geht es besser, seitdem ich ihm Recovery Renal gebe (10 Tage). Die Verdauung ist besser und auch der Appetit. Er frisst oft „freiwillig“ als Zusatznahrung etwas Royal Renal Trockenfutter und erbricht nur noch ausnahmsweise. Ich bin begeistert und werde so weiterfahren. Mo hat nur noch 1 Niere, die einigermassen funktioniert, Tierärztin machte mir keine Hoffnung. Schade, dass diese Produkt in den Tierarztpraxen nicht bekannt ist. Woran liegt das wohl?
