Royal Canin Indoor Sterilised contient un équilibre de minéraux tels que le calcium, le magnésium et le phosphore. Cela contribue à minimiser la formation de calculs urinaires (par exemple, les calculs de struvite et d'oxalate), car les minéraux en excès dans l'urine peuvent se cristalliser et former des calculs urinaires. Un rapport équilibré entre les minéraux contribue en outre à maintenir le pH de l'urine dans la zone idéale (légèrement acide). Un pH neutre ou légèrement acide réduit généralement le risque de formation de cristaux.
