ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal for healthy digestion in your dog.
ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal is a balanced and nutritious formula specially formulated to support healthy digestion in dogs with gastrointestinal problems.
+ Indication:
- Acute and chronic diarrhea
- Gastritis
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Colitis
- Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
- Dysbacteria
- Maldigestion/malabsorption
- Inappetence, feeding after surgery
- Contraindication:
- Pancreatitis or previous illness with pancreatitis*
- Hyperlipidemia*
- Lymphangiectasia, exudative enteropathy*
* In these cases, the GASTROINTESTINAL LOW FAT diet is recommended.
Healthy digestion
This easily digestible formula has been enriched with a balanced mix of insoluble and soluble fibers, including prebiotics, to promote healthy digestion and intestinal transit.
High energy content
This food has a high energy content and can therefore be fed in smaller quantities. Your dog's digestive tract is relieved.
High palatability
The food has a particularly tasty recipe and has been specially developed to promote food intake in dogs with a reduced appetite.
Important note
This product is a veterinary food from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. It is therefore important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This will ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it really needs. A change in diet should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7 to 10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size - especially with mixed feeding.
Mixed feeding possible
To meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal is also available as a dry food with crunchy kibble. Mixed feeding gives the food different consistencies, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavor and its moisture content helps to regulate the animal's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to absorb and good for the teeth.
