ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal Kitten is a balanced and nutritious formula specially formulated to promote healthy digestion in kittens with gastrointestinal problems.

ROYAL CANIN® GASTROINTESTINAL KITTEN extra soft mousse is a complete diet food for kittens to alleviate acute intestinal absorption problems. It is an easily digestible feed with an increased sodium and potassium content.

Recommended for kittens from weaning to adulthood and for pregnant and nursing kittens in the event of:

- Acute and chronic diarrhea (incl. diarrhea at weaning)
- gastritis
- Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
- colitis
- Bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine (SIBO)
- maldigestion/malabsorption
- Inappetence, feeding after surgery

Healthy digestion
This easily digestible formula has been enriched with a balanced mix of insoluble and soluble fibers, including prebiotics, to promote healthy digestion and intestinal transit.

Optimal growth
This energy-rich formula contains appropriate levels of nutrients such as protein and calcium that a growing kitten needs to meet the nutritional requirements for healthy development.

Adapted texture
The very soft mousse can stimulate feeding in kittens with a reduced appetite. It can also ease the transition from milk to solid food.

This product is a veterinary food from the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Health Nutrition range. It is therefore important that the food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This will ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it really needs. A change in diet should be made carefully and gradually over a period of 7-10 days. Pay attention to the correct portion size - especially with mixed feeding.

Mixed feeding possible
To meet the individual preferences of all kittens, ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal Kitten is also available as dry food with crunchy kibble.* Mixed feeding gives the food different consistencies, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavor and its moisture content helps to regulate the animal's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, can be given in small portions to avoid overloading the digestive system.
