+ Indications:
- Prevention of recurrence of struvite stones in overweight or obesity-prone cats
- Prevention of the initial formation of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals
- Lower urinary tract disease in cats (FLUTD), including idiopathic cystitis and urethral plugs.
Properties:
Low RSS (Relative Super Saturation) values for struvite and calcium oxalate. The undersaturation or metastable saturation of the urine minimizes the risk of new struvite and calcium oxalate crystals forming in the urine.
The diet feed has a reduced magnesium and phosphorus content (component of struvite stones) for the prevention and dissolution of urinary gravel and struvite stones.
An induced urine pH value below 6.4 dissolves existing struvite stones and prevents the formation of new struvite stones.
A complete and balanced diet food with high quality and easily digestible ingredients that meets the needs of adult cats. The food has a moderate energy content, which helps to maintain the ideal body weight of cats.
EPA and DHA are omega-3 fatty acids that support skin, coat and joint function.
The individual daily requirement can vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc.. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly. The shaded middle column corresponds to the feeding recommendation for a normal weight cat. Please use the right-hand column for overweight cats and the left-hand column for underweight cats.
