SPECIFIC Endocrine Support FED-DM
+ Indications:
- Diabetes mellitus
- Pancreatitis
- Nutritional support for cats with muscle atrophy (e.g. cats with hyperthyroidism)
- Contraindications:
- Kittens and pregnant or lactating females
Properties:
A very low carbohydrate content, with carbohydrates coming from low glycemic index sources such as oats and lentils, combined with a high fiber content, helps to regulate blood sugar levels.
high levels of omega-3 fish oils and beta-glucans support the body's natural anti-inflammatory process and improve insulin sensitivity.
Low fat levels support cats with concomitant pancreatitis
High levels of zinc, selenium and vitamin A, which strengthen the immune system
High protein content, ideal for nutritional support of cats with reduced muscle mass.
Fermentable fibers promote the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria and thus maintain a healthy microbiome in diabetic cats.

Unser Kater Felix hat eine Bauchspeicheldrüsenentzündung. Der Tierarzt hat uns Royal Canin, Nassfutter Sensitivity Control empfohlen. Felix hatte auch Entzündungen am Zahnfleisch, darum bekommt er Allergiefutter, er hat noch ganz wenig Kortison. Bestellt habe ich wieder dasselbe Futter. Möchte aber gerne noch Trockenfutter bestellen und fragte mich, ob dieses Trockenfutter gut wäre. Ihm ist jetzt nicht mehr übel.
Your iPet team Das Specific Endocrine Support ist gut geeignet für Katzen mit Bauchspeicheldrüsenentzündung. Es enthält jedoch diverse Proteine (Fisch, Schwein, Ei), die bei Felix erneut Zahnfleischentzündungen auslösen könnten. Als Allergiker benötigt er eine limitierte Proteinquelle. Wenn er das Royal Canin Sensitivity Control gut verträgt, empfehlen wir Ihnen daher, bei diesem Futter zu bleiben.

Meine Katzenseniorin ist sehr wählerisch. Ich habe für sie eine Futterauswahl. Das Futter muss für eine Katzenseniorin mit empfindlicher Verdauung und chronischer Pankreatitis geeignet sein. Ich habe das SPECIFIC Endocrine Support FED-DM zu meiner Auswahl hinzugefügt. Gracie hat es anfangs gut angenommen und es scheint leicht verdaulich zu sein.
