Properties:
Low carbohydrate content and increased fiber content help control blood sugar levels
High protein content, excellent for nutritional support of cats with reduced muscle mass.
Uniquely high content of omega-3 fatty acids from fish and fish oil. Diabetes is associated with increased levels of pro-inflammatory mediators, reduced insulin sensitivity and reduced immune status.
1,3/1,6-glucans can bind to macrophages and activate the immune system.
Fermentable fibers promote the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria and thus maintain a healthy microbiome in diabetic cats.
The individual daily requirement may vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc..
It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly.

Meine Katzenseniorin ist sehr wählerisch. Dieses Nassfutter (eine Art Pastete) wird von ihr sehr gut angenommen und es scheint sehr leicht verdaulich zu sein. Sie hat eine empfindliche Verdauung und leidet an chronischer Pankreatitis.

Das Futter wird gern gefressen, auch wenn es für meine Nase nicht so gut riecht. Katze bekommt 2x täglich Insulin. Blutzuckerwert hat sich so stabilisiert und bleibt mit diesem Futter konstant. Sehr schnelle Lieferung!
