Properties:
- The slightly reduced levels of protein, phosphorus and sodium reduce the burden on the kidneys and the progression of Renal insufficiency in older cats is slowed down. The high-quality proteins provide a sufficient amount of essential amino acids.
- EPA and DHA are omega-3 fatty acids that support skin and coat functions.
- The slightly reduced protein and sodium content, the increased potassium citrate content and the induced urine pH of 6.6 prevent the formation of calcium oxalate. The RSS value for struvite is < 1, for calcium oxalate < 2.5.
- Enriched with plantago seeds to protect the digestive tract
The individual daily requirement can vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season and activity etc.. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly.
