TRM FURINAID Plus
FURINAID Plus is a complementary food for cats containing N-acetyl glucosamine and L-tryptophan.
It is very palatable and in a convenient liquid form. When fed daily, the glycosaminoglycan levels in the mucous membrane are nutritionally supported and the maintenance of normal nerve function is promoted.
Feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC)
Many studies have shown that Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) is the result of numerous complex interactions between the cat's bladder, nervous system, endocrine system, housing conditions and environment. FIC is characterized by symptoms of cystitis without signs of bacterial cystitis. FIC can result from changes in the protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer that lines the bladder.
Stress
Stress has been reported to play an important role in triggering and/or exacerbating FIC.
Stressors include:
- Living in a household with multiple animals
- Absence of activity and environmental stimuli
- Change of residence or travel
- change in household routine
- Abrupt changes in diet, weather or environment
Instructions for correct use:
Mix Furinaid Plus well into the food and feed each cat individually.
Feeding instructions for the first 14 days: 6 ml daily.
Feeding instructions thereafter for maintenance: 4 ml daily.
The dosing pump supplied doses 2 ml.
