Properties
C.E.T. chewing strips made from bovine hide combine the effect of mechanical tooth cleaning with the effect of enzymatic plaque prophylaxis. Intensive chewing is species-appropriate and stimulates the flow of saliva. The enzymes contained in the chewing strips (patented dual enzyme system C.E.T.) promote the production of endogenous substances in the saliva, which naturally prevent bacterial growth and thus plaque formation. This also eliminates unpleasant odors from the mouth.
C.E.T. chew strips have a poultry aroma and are therefore very appetizing for dogs.
FEEDING RECOMMENDATION The C.E.T. chewing strips for dogs should ideally be part of a complete dental hygiene routine that includes brushing. However, they are also effective without regular tooth brushing. One chew strip per day is recommended, e.g. as a reward.

Virbac C.E.T. chew strips made from bovine hide have been produced by the Apelsa company in Mexico for many years. The bovine hide used comes mainly from Mexico and to a lesser extent from the USA and Europe.
