Nutribound® Dog, oral solution
Nutribound® contains essential ingredients to support the recovery process in a palatable and ready-to-use liquid formulation to promote appetite and water intake.
Nutribound® contains essential nutrients that are especially necessary for the rapid convalescence of animals. Nutribound can be given in the very early stages of convalescence (e.g. as early as 2 hours after awakening from anesthesia) and shortens the convalescence period by optimally promoting metabolism and the immune system.
Veterinarians recommend Nutribound® in all situations that stress the body, such as
- infections
- Refusal to eat
- States of exhaustion
- before and after operations
- for weakened or old animals
- Puppies that need support.
Stress caused by illness and surgery leads to a temporary, approx. 2 week long, increased need for nutrients (especially special amino acids). This increased requirement can be met by administering Noutribound.
Nutribound provides the 3 amino acids glutamine, arginine and taurine as well as other nutrients necessary for ideal convalescence in an easily digestible, liquid and, above all, tasty formulation and shortens the recovery phase after illness and surgery.
When unscrewing the bottle for the first time, unscrew the white cap and remove the safety film.
1 - Shake well before use. It is normal for sedimentation to occur.
2 - Use the enclosed measuring cup for an exact dosage and give Nutribound® as listed in the table, once a day or spread over the day in several portions. Nutribound® can be administered undiluted, with the drinking water or spread over the feed. Fresh water should be available at all times. Nutribound® can be administered throughout convalescence, from the earliest stages until the return to the usual diet.
The recommended protocol is divided into 3 phases:
- Start phase: from the beginning of the recovery phase, give Nutribound® alone.
- Follow-up phase: Food intake should be resumed after 48 hours at the latest. In addition to the administration of Nutribound®, the repeated intake of small amounts of high-energy and highly digestible nutrients is recommended.
- Transition: Nutribound® can be given in addition to the usual diet to help the animal transition to its normal eating habits.
