PRONEFRA® - Tasty oral suspension for cats and dogs

Supports kidney function in cases of chronic renal insufficiency

PRONEFRA® is used to maintain balanced kidney function in dogs and cats.

PRONEFRA® is based on a combination of 4 ingredients

  • Calcium carbonate and mangnesium carbonate reduce the availability of phosphorus by binding it in the intestine.
  • Chitosan binds uraemic toxins in the intestine
  • Marine oligopeptides support the maintenance of a balanced blood pressure.

PRONEFRA® is very palatable and therefore easy to administer.

Shake well before use.

A slight sediment is normal. Administer twice daily with food or directly before or after feeding with the dosing syringe.
Cats: 1 ml/4 kg twice a day
Dogs : 1 ml/5 kg twice a day); initially up to 6 months.

PRONEFRA® is very palatable and therefore easy to administer. It can be mixed with food or administered directly into the animal's mouth using the enclosed syringe.

Do not exceed the specified dosage. Water should always be available.

It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use or prolongation of use. PRONEFRA may not be suitable for certain older animals or animals receiving veterinary treatment for hypersensitivity of the digestive tract. If vomiting or regurgitation occurs, reduce the amount of product administered for a few days to be on the safe side and consult a veterinarian if the symptom persists.

Storage
Store in a dry place at room temperature, even after opening. At low temperatures the product may freeze, but will return to its original consistency after a few hours at room temperature. This does not affect the product quality.

After opening, use the 60 ml bottle within 2 months and the 180 ml bottle within 6 months.

Pronefra ne convient pas aux chats ayant tendance à former des calculs d'oxalate de calcium. Si un liant phosphatique doit être administré en raison d'une insuffisance rénale, nous recommandons d'utiliser un liant sans calcium, par exemple Catney One.

Bonjour,mon chat est sous amodip.Est-ce que le pronefra risque de faire chuter sa tension trop bas? Et est-il plus adapté à un chat souffrant d'un début d'insuffisance rénale (mais n'ayant pas besoin de médicament car pas de fuite des protéines dans l'urine) et d'hypertension (qui est la cause de son insuffisance rénale et non l'inverse),traitée avec de l'amodip,que l'ipakitine? Bonjour, le Pronefra n'influence pas la tension. Et son effet est similaire à l'Ipatikine, il n'existe pas d'étude comparative de leur efficacité, les deux ont des mécanismes d'action similaire. Je vous conseille donc de commander celui qui est le plus facile pour vous à administrer.

Ja, beide Produkte können problemlos kombiniert werden. Idealerweise empfehle ich jedoch, sie zeitlich leicht versetzt zu verabreichen, damit beide optimal aufgenommen werden können.

Pronefra ist ein Ergänzungsfuttermittel zur Unterstützung der Nierenfunktion bei chronischer Nierenerkrankung und prinzipiell geeignet für Katzen im Seniorenalter. Zwischen der Gabe von Pronefra und Thiamacare wird ein zeitlicher Abstand von ein bis zwei Stunden empfohlen, um eine verminderte Aufnahme des Schilddrüsenmedikaments durch die bindenden Inhaltsstoffe von Pronefra im Verdauungstrakt zu verhindern.
