HPM Senior Dog Small & Toy
Complete food for senior dogs of small breeds
+ Indications:
- Non-neutered older dogs
- small breeds (< 10 kg) from 10 years of age
- Dwarf breeds (< 5 kg) from 12 years of age
This food meets the nutritional requirements of older dogs. The recipe is characterized by a reduced energy and phosphorus content.
Ideal body weight
The reduced energy content of the food limits the risk of obesity, which can develop as a result of reduced physical activity. The addition of L-carnitine promotes fat metabolism and limits the formation of fatty tissue.
Mouth and dental health
The addition of Ascophyllum nodosum supports the limitation of plaque and tartar formation, reduces halitosis and contributes to the maintenance of good oral cavity and dental health.
Support for kidney function
The reduced phosphorus content supports the maintenance of healthy kidney function.
Support of skin & coat
The high content of animal proteins (rich in sulphur-containing amino acids) and the balanced content of essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids promote epidermal barrier function and improve sebum quality for healthy skin and a shiny coat.
Support for mobility
The high protein content promotes the maintenance of muscle mass to support mobility. A combination of chondroprotective substances (natural chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine, added hyaluronic acid and eggshell membrane) supports the maintenance of joint elasticity.
