The formula is based on the diet of ancestral dogs and combines it with modern scientific knowledge. The primary food source for ancestral dogs was, of course, meat and fish. However,
they also consumed fruits, herbs, and vegetables through the stomachs of their prey or sought them out and ate them intentionally. This is how they obtained the vitamins, minerals, vital nutrients, trace elements, enzymes, and phytochemicals they needed.
