Audevard Ekygard +
Ekygard + by Audevard is a food supplement that provides triple, enhanced protection for the horse’s stomach. It reduces stomach acid, protects the stomach lining, and supports the gut flora.
Approximately 60% of horses suffer from stomach problems, 40% of them without visible symptoms. Stress, living conditions (travel, competitions, changing stables, etc.), exercise levels, and diet are all factors that can increase acid levels in a horse’s stomach. The associated consequences are often a decline in overall well-being and reduced performance. To help affected horses regain their well-being and reach their full potential, it is important to protect their stomachs from stomach acid.
Ekygard +’s complete formula provides comprehensive support for your horse’s stomach: it protects the gastric mucosa, reduces acidity through a buffering effect, and stabilizes the bacterial flora in the digestive tract.
Thanks to the latest generation of ingredients such as Pectigard Complex® (pectin-lecithin), magnesium hydroxide, sea buckthorn berries, and probiotics, Ekygard + contains all the ingredients recommended by the European Institute of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) for the treatment of stomach problems in horses.
In addition to these key ingredients, it also contains aloe vera to soothe the stomach and fenugreek to stimulate the appetite.
Ekygard + is a food supplement that can be used both as a course of treatment and for one-time use.

Your iPet team Die Gabe der gesamten Tagesration von Ekygard + in einer einzigen Portion am Abend ist nicht empfehlenswert. Um den Schutz der Magenschleimhaut über den Tag hinweg kontinuierlich zu unterstützen, sollte die Verabreichung auf mindestens zwei Mahlzeiten aufgeteilt werden. So wird eine gleichmässige Pufferung der Magensäure gewährleistet.
