Renate® - Comprehensive support of kidney function for cats
Renate® is a complementary food for cats to support kidney function. Renate's unique blend of ingredients such as B vitamins, turmeric and cranberries supports kidney function in cats and provides fast and long-term support.
Renate® contains:
- Phosphate binders: calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate bind phosphate in the intestine so that it cannot be absorbed but is excreted undigested.
- Curcumin: the active component of turmeric helps to support kidney function in many ways. For example, it helps to improve the filtration of proteins in the kidneys and it increases the activity of antioxidant enzymes and thus helps to scavenge free radicals.
- Cranberry: Cranberry extract with proanthycyanidins supports the reduction of bacteria that can bind to the urinary bladder wall.
- Pine bark: maritime pine extracts contain a mixture of flavonoids that can increase blood flow through the kidneys, helping to keep blood pressure stable.
- Vitamins: B vitamins help maintain normal phosphate levels in the blood. Vitamin E neutralizes free radicals and thus supports kidney health.

Bonne composition, mais pas au goût de mon chat
J'apprécie la composition de ce produit, surtout le curcuma. Mais mon chat n'en a pas du tout voulu

Wenn das Büsi mal streikt
Eine prima Ergänzung, wenn mal gar nichts geht. Einfach übers Futter streuen. Ich benutze es nur, wenn meine Katze gar kein Nierenfutter anrührt und dadurch normales Futter benutzen muss.

Wenn man Renate unter Nassfutter mischt sieht es aus als hätte man Spinat darunter gemischt. Meine Katzen verweigern es. Unter das Trockenfutter geben geht. Aber auch da bleiben Spuren und das Futter fühlt sich nass an. Evtl. muss das so sein?
Aber helfen tut es meiner Nierenkranken Mieze und das ist doch das Wesentliche.
Trotzdem nur vier Sterne. -
