For dogs with urinary tract problems and a tendency to be overweight

ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is a balanced and nutritious formula specially formulated to help dogs with urinary problems such as struvite crystals and stones. This food is suitable for dogs that frequently overeat.

Scope of Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie:

• Bacterial cystitis
• Dissolution of struvite crystals/stones
• Calcium oxalate prophylaxis
• Struvite prophylaxis

Not suitable for:

• Pregnant and lactating bitches, puppies
• Chronic Renal insufficiency, metabolic acidosis
• Pancreatitis
• Parallel treatment with uric acidifying medication
• Cardiac insufficiency
• Hyperlipidemia

Duration of treatment
5 to 12 weeks or until the urinary crystals/stones dissolve, at least 6 months to prevent recurrence. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be continued for at least one month after the first negative urine test.

Mixed feeding possible
To meet the individual preferences of all dogs, ROYAL CANIN® Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie is also available as a dry food with crunchy kibble. Mixed feeding gives the food different consistencies, which can stimulate the appetite. Wet food has a more intense flavor and its moisture content helps to regulate the animal's water balance. Dry food, on the other hand, is easier to ingest and good for the teeth.
