SPECIFIC Weight Reduction FRW
Complete diet food for cats for weight reduction.

Properties:
The low fat content and high Crude fiber content are responsible for the low energy content. During weight reduction, the pet owner can feed a normal food ration and at the same time be sure that the cat is full.
An induced urine pH value below 6.4 prevents struvite stones.
The high protein content promotes muscle maintenance and satiates the cat during weight loss. L-carnitine transports fatty acids to the mitochondria, stimulates fat burning and protects the muscles.
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) support normal joint function in overweight cats. Omega-3 fatty acids also support the health of the skin and coat.
The content of complex carbohydrates and fibers promotes a gradual release of glucose and is therefore suitable for patients with diabetes mellitus.
During weight reduction it is recommended to feed 65% of the amount of SPECIFIC™ FRD/FRW Weight Reduction calculated for normal cats. If the cat is not losing weight, it may be necessary to reduce this amount further. Overweight cats should not be fasted or lose weight too quickly, as this can lead to hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver syndrome). Individual daily requirements may vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, time of year and activity levels. It is therefore advisable to monitor the general condition and body weight and adjust the amount of food accordingly.1 bowl of 100 g Specific FRW Weight Reduction can replace 24 g Specific FRD Weight Reduction.
