The microchip-controlled DualScan cat flap from SureFlap reads your cats' microchip or RFID collar tag when they leave and enter your home. DualScan technology prevents unwanted intrusion into your home and is like a personal front door key for your pet. With DualScan technology, you can restrict your pets to staying indoors while others can enjoy the outdoors.
As with all microchip cat flaps, scanning the chip keeps outside cats and other animals, such as martens, out. The special design of the frame and the high-quality finish mean that unwanted visitors don't stand a chance, as the flap cannot be opened by force using claws.

Like all SureFlap cat doors, the dual-scan cat flap can be installed in any type of door, window or wall. For optimum installation, you can purchase tunnel extensions and a mounting adapter for installation in glass panes separately.

The SureFlap microchip-controlled DualScan cat flap is the same size as the SureFlap microchip cat flap and many other standard cat doors on the market.
It can therefore also be easily replaced with old cat doors.
