VetPlus AKTIVAIT® for dogs and cats

AKTIVAIT® is a feed supplement with a synergistic combination of nutrients, antioxidants and mitochondrial cofactors to support age-related loss of mental functionality and activity in dogs and cats.

When should AKTIVAIT® be used?
For all dogs and cats diagnosed with or at risk of cognitive dysfunction syndrome.
It is highly recommended to start support as early as possible, right after the first behavioral abnormality has been identified and differential diagnoses have been ruled out.

Cognitive dysfunction is a condition that occurs in older dogs and cats and has many similarities to Alzheimer's disease in humans. It is caused by progressive degenerative changes in the brain and is characterized by behavioral changes resulting from the loss of cognitive abilities and learned behaviors. This condition often occurs in older animals, but the clinical signs are often misinterpreted as normal age-related behavioral changes.

Clinical signs
The behavioral changes can be divided into 5 categories:
Activity: increased wandering, restlessness.
Depression or apathy.
Disorientation: Reduced recognition of familiar people, animals or places. Getting lost in familiar places.
Changed interaction behavior: Reduced interest in interactions, playing or increased needy and clingy behavior. Inappropriate barking or meowing.
Changes in sleep patterns: restless sleep and waking at night. Increased daytime and total sleep.
Grooming behavior: Littering indoors and in random places. Reduced or absent display of intention to groom. Despite being walked, grooming indoors on return.

Capsules can be opened and sprinkled over the food or given whole.

Tablets can be administered whole or mixed into the feed.

When is the best time to give my cat the aktivait medication. In the morning or late evening. She meows all nite. Thank you for your feed-back.
Your iPet team

It doesn't matter at what time of day Aktivait is administered. It is important that it is administered regularly and over a longer period of time.

Ist Aktivait für einen Allergiker Hund geeignet?
Your iPet team

Your iPet team

Synoquin und Aktivait können bedenkenlos kombiniert werden. Es sind keine negativen Wechselwirkungen der Inhaltsstoffe zu erwarten.
