Synoquin® Cat supports joint health and helps to promote mobility. The capsules contain omega-3 fatty acids from krill oil (Dehaxan), which are much more easily digested and utilized by the body than oils from other sources. Omega-3 fatty acids are an excellent food supplement as they provide a wealth of health benefits and support the treatment of joint disease. Synoquin Cat also contains the proven cartilage building blocks chondroitin and glucosamine in high purity.

Synoquin contains a unique combination of:

  • Chrondroitin sulphate (more than 95% purity) - a key ingredient for healthy cartilage and synovial fluid
  • Glucosamine hydrochloride (greater than 99% purity) - a key ingredient in the production of healthy cartilage and synovial fluid
  • Dexahan - a highly purified form of krill oil rich in essential omega-3 fatty acids and astaxanthin, a particularly potent antioxidant
  • Zinc - important for the metabolism of cartilage and bone substance
  • Vitamin C - a water-soluble antioxidant

The krill used for Synoquin is sustainably fished by the supplier. This is accredited by the Marine Stewardship Council.

Capsules can be opened and sprinkled over food or fed whole. Do not reduce the recommended daily amount without advice from your veterinarian. To achieve maximum success, the recommended initial program should be followed.

Initial program - 6 weeks: 2 capsules daily (1 in the morning, 1 in the evening)
Cats react differently to feed supplements. In general, the daily intake can be reduced after the initial program.

Maintenance program - long-term: 1 capsule daily.

If necessary, increase the daily amount by ½ capsule every 4 weeks or contact your veterinarian.

Do not exceed the total amount of the initial program.

Darf ich dies nir unter das Futter mischen oder auch direkt ins Maul geben? Sprich das Pulver mit ein bisschen Wasser vermischen und direkt geben? Ist die Wirkung dann gleich? Und wie schnell wirkt im Allgemein Synoquin? Ab wann sollte man eine Besserung sehen?

Guten Tag, solange Ihre Katze das Synoquin zuverlässig aufnimmt, spielt es keine Rolle, ob sie es mit dem Futter frisst oder Sie es in Wasser auflösen und direkt ins Maul geben – beides ist möglich. 
Bitte beachten Sie, dass es sich um ein Ergänzungsfuttermittel zur Unterstützung der Gelenkfunktion handelt, nicht um ein Schmerzmittel. Das bedeutet, dass Sie bei fortgeschrittenen Gelenkveränderungen möglicherweise nicht sofort eine sichtbare Verbesserung der Beweglichkeit feststellen werden. Bei leichteren Problemen, ohne akuten Entzündungsschub, kann sich jedoch innerhalb einiger Wochen eine Besserung zeigen.

Ich empfehle Ihnen, die Situation auch mit Ihrer Tierärztin / Ihrem Tierarzt zu besprechen, um sicherzustellen, dass Ihre Katze optimal betreut wird.
