HPM Cat Urology U1 Struvite Dissolution
Complete food for adult cats
This food was developed for cats with urinary stone problems and its formula supports the dissolution of struvite stones. A urine pH value of between 6.0 and 6.5 prevents the formation of new struvite and oxalate crystals.
The high amounts of protein and sodium in the food stimulate the cat's drinking water intake, increasing the volume and frequency of urination. An extract of dried artichoke leaves also helps to dilute the urine.
The addition of the phosphorus binder chitosan helps to reduce the bioavailability of phosphorus and reduce phosphorus excretion via the urine. The addition of potassium citrate limits the formation of calcium oxalate crystals.
This complete food for cats with a urinary stone problem should be fed for five to a maximum of twelve weeks to dissolve the struvite stones, after consultation with your vet.

Unique formula / High acceptance
Induces the formation of urine that is undersaturated with struvite to promote the dissolution of existing struvite stones and prevent the formation of new struvite stones.
Increases water absorption
High amounts of proteins and sodium stimulate the intake of drinking water and thus support the increase in urine volume and urinary excretion.
Optimization of urine pH
A value between 6.0 and 6.5 prevents the formation of struvite and oxalate crystals.
Phosphorus binding through chitosan
The bioavailability of phosphorus is reduced and phosphorus excretion via the urine is reduced.

Problème urinaire
S'est les seuls croquettes que mon chat supporte à ce dosage afin d'avoir plus de crystos dans ses urines. Le seul défaut est qu'elles sont très chers.

Il me reste à trouver des croquettes différentes pour mes 2 autres chats un britisch shorthair de 4 ans et un petit de 2 ans européen operé à l'âge de 2 mois qui chipote un pour pour la nourriture humide, je vais poser mes question au SAV et je suis certaine que l'on va pouvoir m'aider, avec un grand merci
