HPM Cat Urology U3 WIB - WATER INTAKE & BEHAVIOUR (WIB)
Complete food for adult cats
The high levels of protein and sodium in this special support diet stimulate the cat's drinking water intake, thereby helping to increase the volume and frequency of urination. The addition of an extract of dried artichoke leaves also dilutes the urine. The formula induces the formation of urine that is undersaturated with struvites to prevent the formation of crystals.
Furthermore, the low content of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium helps to limit the urinary excretion of these minerals and thus the risk of struvite and oxalate crystal formation.
The addition of potassium citrate, a specific oxalate inhibitor, can limit the formation of calcium oxalate crystals.
Unique to this food is the Behavior Plus Complex: a green tea concentrate has been shown to help cats cope with stressful situations.
This complete food is designed for cats with urinary tract problems and a history of urinary stone problems and can be given on a permanent basis for further prevention. However, it should not be used during growth, pregnancy or lactation, kidney disease or heart failure.
