Why CAVALOR® Gastro 8?

Gastric acid is produced around the clock in the horse's stomach. The horse's stomach is very susceptible to the development of wounds or stomach ulcers. The herbs in Cavalor Gastro 8 provide the necessary protection of the stomach wall against excess stomach acid. To further support the stomach, saliva production is stimulated and the stomach wall is helped to regenerate any ulcers.

The horse constantly produces stomach acid. If the stomach is empty, the stomach acid irritates the stomach wall and can cause sores or ulcers. There are various ways to protect the stomach against stomach acid. Ideally, hay should be available to the horse throughout the day. The fibers in the hay form a protective fiber mat in the stomach, which absorbs the stomach acid and thus gives it no chance to attack the stomach wall. In addition, the proportion of sugar and starch per feed ration should be kept as low as possible.

Cavalor Gastro 8 consists mainly of herbs that protect the stomach wall and help to neutralize stomach acid. This means that stomach acid has fewer opportunities to damage the stomach wall. Even if the stomach wall is already damaged, Cavalor Gastro 8 ensures faster healing.
