ICF Clorexyderm Solution 4%
ICF Clorexyderm Solution 4% for dogs, cats, rodents, and horses offers the same benefits as ICF Clorexyderm Shampoo 4%, with the difference that ICF Clorexyderm Solution 4% does not need to be applied with water or rinsed off. This makes the solution a particularly good alternative to shampooing for animals that dislike water, sick animals, or during the winter. The product contains chlorhexidine gluconate (40 mg/g), which inhibits bacteria and fungi that are sensitive to it, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, Malassezia pachydermatis, Candida albicans, Microsporum canis, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes. The solution can be used as an adjunct to therapy for the following specific skin conditions, for example:
- deep pyoderma
- Malassezia colonization (especially in chronic cases with accompanying lichenification)
- mixed microbial infection (Malassezia and bacteria)
- skin prone to dermatophytosis
Directions for Use:
Shake well before use. Apply Clorexyderm Solution 4% undiluted in a thin, even layer to the area of skin to be disinfected and massage in thoroughly. Ideally, allow the solution to remain on the skin for at least 30 minutes. Clorexyderm Solution 4% does not need to be rinsed off after application. The nourishing and moisturizing ingredients lanolin and glycerin work synergistically to support the skin, even with repeated use.
Notes:
- Clorexyderm Solution 4% contains: chlorhexidine, isodecyl alcohol
- Causes severe eye irritation.
- Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use is not recommended for people with asthma.
- For external use only.
- Do not use simultaneously with other disinfectants. Do not mix with soaps, anionic surfactants, or bicarbonates.
- If swallowed: Seek medical advice/medical attention.
- If product comes into contact with eyes: Gently rinse with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing.
- Keep container tightly closed. Do not store in direct sunlight or near radiators.

Il faut regarder avec votre vétérinaire qui pourra vous prescrire un traitement médicamenteux adapté, idéalement une combinaison entre une solution topique et un traitement par voie orale. Your iPet team La solution Clorexyderm 4 % n'apporte pas de meilleurs résultats que le shampooing pour prévenir une réinfection. Le principe actif chlorhexidine (contenu dans Clorexyderm) agit principalement contre les bactéries/fongicides, mais pas suffisamment contre les kystes de Giardia. Pour l'hygiène, l'élimination mécanique des kystes lors du shampooing est particulièrement importante. Pour cela, vous devez laver quotidiennement et soigneusement l'arrière-train du chien avec un shampooing, puis le sécher soigneusement afin d'éviter une réinfection.
De plus, l'environnement doit être traité avec un désinfectant efficace contre les Giardia (par exemple ViPiBax Giardien ex Spray).

Mein 17-jähriger Kater hatte eine Verklebung am Schwanz. Nach 3-maliger Behandlung war es weg. Es ging ihm aber danach nicht so gut. Er wollte nicht essen und da habe ich die Hausärztin bestellt. Sie hat nichts Auffälliges gefunden und meinte er sei halt alt. Ich vermute, dass ihm das Mittel ev. auf den Magen geschlagen hat, da er es abgeleckt hat. Ich habe leider vergessen die Tierärztin zu fragen... Katzen sind leider empfindlicher als Hunde. Jetzt verhält er sich wieder normal und frisst auch wieder.
