High-quality and easily digestible ingredients compensate for the reduced gastrointestinal enzyme activity and ensure maximum absorption of nutrients from the food. This diet is therefore ideal for dogs with gastrointestinal problems such as acute and chronic diarrhea, vomiting and/or flatulence.

The high content of minerals and fat-soluble vitamins compensates for the reduced absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. The increased electrolyte content compensates for the increased loss of electrolytes during diarrhea and vomiting.

ß-1.3/1.6-glucans (from Saccharomyces cerevisiae) bind to the receptors of white blood cells, thus stimulating the immune system and supporting an adequate immune response. This diet also contains mannan oligosaccharides (MOS). MOS bind non-specifically to pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal tract and thus prevent them from adhering to the intestinal wall. MOS also stimulate the local immune response.
