The ADAPTIL® Collar relaxes dogs of all ages in many stressful everyday situations.

The dog collar is easy and comfortable to use. The dog appeasing pheromone (mother dog pheromone) is released permanently, even when the dog is outside. Your dog's body heat warms the Collar and ensures that the pheromone is distributed in the immediate vicinity. It is important that the ADAPTIL® Collar is always in close contact with your dog's coat.

Application / Use

The ADAPTIL® Collar is available in two sizes, both adjustable to your dog's neck circumference:

• S for puppies and small dogs (neck circumference up to 37.5 cm)
• M - L for medium / large dogs (neck circumference up to 62.5 cm)

An ADAPTIL® Collar helps for four weeks and can be replaced as required.

How do I put on the ADAPTIL® Collar?

• Fasten the Collar in a wide position.
• Pull it over the dog's head until it fits loosely around the neck.
• Carefully tighten the Collar until it fits snugly against the animal's coat. There should be no more than two fingers between the Collar and the neck.
• Make sure that the Collar is properly fastened
• Cut off the protruding part of the Collar.
• Check the fit of the Collar regularly. It must fit snugly around the dog's neck. Note for puppies: As puppies are growing, the fit of the collar should be checked regularly and adjusted so that the collar is not too tight.

The mother dog's pheromone is released into the air almost immediately after the collar is put on. The Collar will not work if it is wet. As soon as it is dry again, it can be used again.

If your dog is wearing another collar, you should ensure that the ADAPTIL® Collar is in direct contact with the dog's coat. No leashes should be attached to the ADAPTIL® Collar.
