Hill's Prescription Diet Canine u/d Urinary Care
Prescription Diet Canine u/d was developed for the dietary treatment of dogs with urolithiasis problems.
Hill's PRESCRIPTION DIET u/d Dog Food Original is a special food for adult dogs that helps to reduce the formation of urate stones, cystine stones and the accumulation of copper in the liver. This food has a moderate proportion of sulphur amino acids, a low proportion of purines and a low proportion of proteins. However, the protein it contains is of very high quality and helps to reduce the formation of stones. The copper content is also reduced. The food also has a uric acid neutralizing effect.

Prescription Diet u/d Canine is a complete dietary food for adult dogs to reduce oxalate stone formation, reduce urate stone formation, reduce cystine stone formation, reduce copper storage in the liver and to support kidney function in chronic Renal insufficiency. This dietary feed has a low calcium content, a low phosphorus content and a low vitamin D content. It also has a medium content of sulphur-containing amino acids, a low purine content, a limited (low) protein content, but high quality protein, a low copper content and urinary alkalizing properties.
