Tuffoal is a specially developed dietary supplement that specifically supports gastrointestinal health and normal intestinal motility in foals and horses. Thanks to a carefully balanced combination of high-quality ingredients, it provides rapid and effective relief from digestive irritation. The kaolinite clay it contains binds excess water and helps slow down unnaturally rapid intestinal motility—an effect that has proven particularly effective in studies involving suckling foals. Additionally, pectin serves as a valuable source of dietary fiber and energy for the cells of the gastrointestinal wall, thereby promoting water and sodium retention in the large intestine. This is a crucial factor for the production of normal, firm feces.

To sustainably strengthen the intestinal flora, Tuffoal provides a high proportion of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). These prebiotics stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the large intestine while simultaneously reducing the number of harmful bacteria through the principle of competitive exclusion. To ensure a rapid recovery, the formula quickly replenishes lost electrolytes with sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and magnesium sulfate. The formulation is supplemented with the amino acid glycine, which not only serves as a precursor to important antioxidants but also significantly increases the absorption of electrolytes, thereby ensuring particularly fast results.
