Screw the 48 ml bottle into the socket vaporizer and place it in the room where your cat spends most of its time or where the stress-related behavior takes place.

The pheromones are distributed through the vaporizer into the surrounding air.

To give your cat the security and safety it needs, please leave the ^FELIWAY® Optimum Vaporizer plugged in continuously 24 hours a day for 4 weeks.

The 48 ml bottle in the ^FELIWAY® Optimum Vaporizer Start Set is sufficient for continuous use for 4 weeks on an area of 50 - 70 m². For a larger living area >70 m² or an apartment on several floors, we recommend using additional FELIWAY® Optimum Vaporizers. 1 refill bottle (48 ml) of ^FELIWAY® Optimum is sufficient for a further 30 days of use on 50 - 70 m² of living space.

We recommend that you check the socket vaporizer monthly and replace it after 6 months of use for optimum results.

How FELIWAY® Optimum works

Cats interact with each other and the world around them through pheromones, a type of chemical messenger that they naturally secrete. You can use ^Feliway® Optimum at any stage of your cat's life, from kitten to senior cat.

^FELIWAY® Optimum is only perceptible by cats. It has no effect on humans or other animals in the household, such as dogs.

If a change in the cat's behavior is desired, e.g. cessation of urination or scratching, ^FELIWAY® Optimum should be used for at least another 2 weeks after the cessation of the behavior. If it is helpful for the cats (e.g. in the case of very sensitive cats), ^FELIWAY® Optimum may also be used permanently.
